본문
PBI is a compression-molded polybenzimidazole resin.
It has the highest thermal resistance among engineering plastics
and offers the highest mechanical strength and wear resistance
within high-temperature environments (at 200 °C or higher ).
Lineup : CELAZOLE, SCM7600 - CF, U-60 NC, SCM7000HP, etc

PBI is applicable at up to 427 °C , while its continuous working temperature is up to 399 °C within inert atmospheres and 343 °C –538 °C (short term) in the air.
PBI has the lowest coefficient of thermal expansion and highest compression strength among nonreinforced plastics for great numerical stability.
BPI is a nonreinforced material containing very few ion impurities, and outgas doesn’t occur except for the water, making it applicable for parts touching wafer/glass and inside vacuum chambers with semiconductors, making it ideal for LCD/PDP manufacturers.
It has good ultrasonic penetration and thermal insulation, making it ideal for ultrasonic measuring systems (probe tip lenses), plastic production, contact seal of molding machines, and insulating bushing.
